A Hudson Lake home was the site of burglary by thieves looking to stay warm and clean up.

Police were called out to the 8600 East block of John Emery Road when a report came in that a repossessed home had been burglarized.

When police arrived they spoke to a representative from Outsourced Property MCS who told them that he had come to finish changing the locks on the property and saw that someone had stolen the home's furnace, hot water heater and bath tub.

According to the report, the representative told police he had changed some of the locks back in October but had left the front entrance locks the same so that the past tenants could collect their belongings.

Police say the representative believes the past tenants were responsible for taking the items due to there being no alleged signs of forced entry.
