Two people were injured in a motor vehicle collision in the Westville area

yesterday.

About 7:15 a.m....police were called to U-S 421 and Route 6.

47 year old Nina Freel told officers she was westbound on Route 6

heading to the prison.

And...when she got to the intersection....Freel said she wasn't paying

attention and failed to stop at the flashing red light.

As a result.....she collided with a car southbound on U-S 421.

Police say the driver at fault from Goshen complained of pain to her

leg and foot.

The other driver....55 year old Mary Houin of Plymouth complained of pain

to her mid section.

One of the drivers was taken away by ambulance.
