A yacht stuck on the shore of Lake Michigan during the recent

storm will sail again.

Bob Stratton is with Service 1 Marine in New Buffalo.

He says the boat is still intact.

Originally...he feared the 20 foot waves would leave the

56 foot vessel in shambles.

But...crews managed to pull it partially on the beach helping to

keep it away from the rocks.

Stratton says he looked at the boat and it seems for the most part

OK....but for the owner the experience will likely be a costly one....with the

towing bill alone to be in the ''tens of thousands of dollars.''

The boat was leaving the channel in New Buffalo on Sunday when the

propellers hit bottom.....killing the engines.

The strong north winds then pushed the boat into the rocks and

onto the shallow bottom....as the storm approached.
