A million dollar boat beached in New Buffalo has survived the

overnight pounding.

Bob Stratton of Service 1 Marine says crews this morning pulled the

boat halfway onto the beach.

So...only the backend was still in the water.

At a distance....Stratton says he couldn't see a lot of damage on the 56 foot vessel

but more will be known once the watercraft gets inspected....

We spoke to Stratton who was just a stone's throw from the water's edge...

Stratton says the winds and waves are so strong....he felt like the TV reporters

in a hurricane...

The boat became stranded when the propellers hit shallow bottom Sunday

stalling the engines.

Stratton says the waves are crashing into the back end but it appears the breakwall

is providing some protection.
