"Sip 'n' Scream" Halloween Event Today At La Porte County Historical Museum

Halloween is upon us, and those La Porte County residents wanting to

start the frieghtening festivites a little early while learning about
local legends and haunts have a destination celebrate in spooky

Today, the family event "Sip 'n' Scream" will be going on at
the La Porte County Historical Society Museum.

Guests attending the event can look forward to
hearing classic frightening tales read by professional
storyteller Grant Fitch, participate in a Scary Scavenger Hunt, watch
"The Gunness Mystery" and ask an expert about Belle, brush up on
your local history in a trivia contest with prizes given AND County
Historian Fern Eddy Schultz will fill you in on "Hauntings of La
Porte" all while enjoying refreshments, creepy decorations and
fun music.

The "Sip and Scream" event is today from 10am-4:30pm and is
being held at the La Porte County Historical Society
Museum located at 2405 Indiana Avenue in La Porte.

The event is free; however, regular museum admission will apply.
