Over one thousand kids turned out for a night of live christian music and

lessons on making good choices in La Porte last night.

The third and final night of FLOOD was held at the Civic Auditorium.

Ken Grace created the three day event...

He says more kids turned out each night.....

Grace says the kids were also given a chance to speak about what's troubling

Grace says the kids who came forward looking for help will now be directed

to people who can offer some assistance.

FLOOD was created to address the local problem with heroin and other

drugs in recent years.

Grace says over 500 young people turned out Monday night while attendance

exceeded 800 Tuesday night.
