A trip to the grocery store in Indiana is up slightly from last year.

According to Indiana Farm Bureau.....food prices are still low with prices

this spring up only slightly over last year.......which recorded a five year low.

Milk prices are 22 percent less over the past two years....

Deli ham.....bacon and apples also registered noticeable price drops.

The highest price increases were on products like chicken breasts....eggs and

bagged salad.

Farm Bureau says a meal for ten people averages just over 46 dollars.

Despite a slight increase from last year...that same meal is 13 percent less

costly than in 2016,
