Emergency responders in the city of LaPorfte were busy saving lives with the heroin antidote narcan over the weekend.

There were at least three suspected heroin overdoses.

One was Saturday night in the 200 block of Planett St.

Police say a 45 year old woman shot up.

She was unconscious on the floor until given narcan by the fire department.

Police are seeking a warrant to arrest Dorothy Dunham because of a syringe recovered from that


That same night.....a 22 year old woman was given two doses of the heroin antidote in the

800 block of Clay St.

Police say Alissa Wilson after waking up admitted snorting heroin and was taken to the hospital to

be checked out.

Police said the other overdose involved 32-year old Brad Hudgins being revived after going into cardiac arrest at a mobile home on McClung Road.

He admitted snorting some of the heroin several individuals brought over Sunday afternoon, police said.
