A man burned in a fire and explosion near Michigan City this week

is still in the hospital.

According to hospital officials.....37 year old Josh Towle was in fair condition at a

burn center in Ft. Wayne yesterday afternoon.

According to family members.....the burns to his face were minor......

but he has bandages on both arms.

Fortunately....the said no drastic medical related measures had to be taken....and

he's also talking.

The accident happened Thursday at Lakeside Autowerks along U.S 20

near Evergreen Plaza in Trail Creek.

He was welding when something caused an explosion.

Coolspring Township fire chief Mick Pawlik says the source of the explosion
