The legal age to buy tobacco in Indiana will not go up 21.

A house committee recently voted unanimously recently to

raise the legal age to 21.

But....House speaker Brian Bosma chose to have that measure

undergo further study.

Indiana Chamber of Commerce president Kevin Brinegar is critical

of the decision.

Saying Indiana has more smokers than most other states.....and

the habit is a costly one for employers......

The measure also would have raised the legal age to 21 for buying vaping

Products.
