A woman pulled from a fire yesterday in Trail Creek has died.

60-year old Vickie Cummings was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital.

Her brother...Mike Elkins said she had burns to about 50 percent of her

body and smoke inhalation.

She was rescued from her upstairs apartment.......inside the Fraternal Order of

Police building on Johnson Road in Trail Creek.

Elkins says three sisters of his and a brother have now died in less than a

year.

Cummings lived with Bob Ream.....who jumped from the 2nd story window

and is expected to fully recover.

The FOP building was totally destroyed.

The cause of the blaze early yesterday was still being investigated.
