He was allegedly found with heroin after stealing from a drug dealer dragged from his vehicle.

Four of the six counts faced by Kenneth Bellamy, 38, of Michigan City are felonies.

According to court documents, Bellamy October 8 parked in the 1400 block of Jefferson Ave. in LaPorte.

Xanax was handed to his front seat passenger, Frank Urbanski, but Bellamy sped away with the $600 the female dealer was supposed to receive.

The woman desperate for the money held on to the side of the Cadillac SUV then after letting go was laying in the street when police arrived.

According to police, she was taken by ambulance with undisclosed injuries to both legs along with scrapes, cuts and bruises to her face and other areas.

Police in Long Beach early Monday stopped Bellamy to arrest him on a warrant for what happened in LaPorte and Urbanski, 39, also of Michigan City was with him.

Both men were arrested when three ''dime bags'' of heroin, 41 syringes and a small amount of marijuana were recovered from the vehicle, said Long Beach Police Chief Bob Sulkowski

The drug dealer told police she just recently met Bellamy on Facebook and set up the botched drug buy on the social media site, according to court documents
