LaPorte mayor Mark Krentz has settled up with Michigan City mayor Ron Meer over

their bet.

The $100 wager was on the game Friday night between the Slicers and Wolves.

Michigan City won 38-10 and Friday night plays for the regional champion at Concord High School

in Elkhart.

Meer says he's already given the money from the wager to the Food Pantry at the Salvation Army in

Michigan City.

Meer and many Slicers fans were surprised the game turned out to be a blowout especially

since the Slicers won the last game 58 to 56 during homecoming.
