slicers to get police escort to title game

The LaPorte Slicers high school football team will be escorted by the police

to this evening's sectional title game in Michigan City.

The team will leave Kiwanis Field at 4:15 p.m.

Officer Bill Degnaagard says the Slicers if they win will be given a police escort back.

Kick off tonight is at 7 p.m. and the game can be heard live on 96-7 The Eagle.
