An arrest has been made in connection with two people shot in Michigan City during the night.

Brandon Shepard allegedly led police on a high speed chase down city streets after the shootings.

According to police....Jennifer Walkden and John Floyd were shot once and their injuries

were not believed life threatening.

The shootings happened about 12:30 this morning at Green Acres Trailer Park

on State Road 212 on the city's far east side.

Police say the victims know the shooter who fled in a white Cadillac.

Soon..the vehicle was spotted in the area of Roeske Ave. and Coolspring Ave.....

During a pursuit.....police say speeds reached 70 miles per hour on the city streets and

ended near Columbia St. after stop sticks were set out.

Police say Shepard tried getting out to flee on foot but an officer parked close enough

to the suspect's car to prevent the driver's side door from opening.

What led up to the shooting and other details still remain under investigation.
