LaPorte County Police have just revealed evidence of possible alcohol consumption

in the double fatal motor vehicle crash over the weekend.

Police say an empty whiskey bottle was recovered from the floorboard

of the suspect's car.

40 year old Tron Gorbonosenko also had what allegedly seemed to be alcohol on his

breath.

47 year old Don Kaczmarek and his 49 year old wife Angie were killed.

Police say the suspect was driving in the opposite lane on a two lane stretch

of U.S 20 between Rolling Prairie and New Carlisle....

The head on impact was so extreme......police say the motors in both vehicles were

blown to pieces.

Gorbonosenko was about to undergo surgery when a blood sample was taken

from him.

Police are still waiting for the results of the test before deciding possible charges.

Gorbonosenko is a paramedic with LaPorte County Emergency Medical Service.

The Kaczmarek's were owners of Packman's Family Pizzeria in LaPorte's downtown.
