Slicers fans were really happy to see the baseball team back in the
regionals.
The Slicers are out of the tournament now after losing the first game
to Andrean 6-4 Saturday at Schreiber Field.
Head coach Scott Upp says it's tougher nowadays to advance deep
into the tournament.
Not only is the tournament divided into classes now.......other schools
have made baseball a major priority which has increased the level of
competition.....
Upp says more schools focusing harder on baseball has been good for the game..
The Slicers have eight state baseball titles with the last being in 2000
